Geographic Information Systems (GIS) is a specialty of GIS Cartography and Publishing Services (GISCAPS).  Our associates have been in the forefront of this modern technology since the 1990’s.

GISCAPS primary GIS service is to cartographically style, layout and publish maps from client provided GIS data. GISCAPS prefers to work with client provided data for spatial accuracy and because client data is usually more up to date. GISCAPS will cartographically style the data, including place annotation, road shields, line weights according to Feature Class Codes (FCC), add color etc. GISCAPS can also add additional layers as needed for your purposes.  This new map will be constructed into a geodatabase with feature-linked annotation. From this geodatabase GISCAPS can extract map layout, including map insets and index. Once map layout is complete a proof of printed product will be provided to client for approval.

If you have a GIS map and feel that it does not need any cartographic styling but would like assistance in layout and/or publishing, GISCAPS will be happy to help you with this part of your project.
